ordering: please read all item descriptions, measurements, care instructions and return policy thoroughly before placing your order. payments are accepted via paypal and via domestic money orders made out to dear birthday. if you are uncomfortable with paypal or submitting your payment information online and do not wish to send a money order, you may contact us via email for contact information and then call with your credit card information for processing via telephone. we do not accept personal checks, international money orders or cash sent via mail. money orders and inquiries may be sent via post to dear birthday, 622 manhattan ave ste 2, brooklyn, ny 11222 because the website does not automatically update as items are sold, occasionally your selected item may have already been sold. if this occurs we will refund your payment and issue our sincere apologies. new york sales tax will apply to new york residents shipping: we ship via usps priority and global priority mail within the united states and internationally shipping is calculated based on weight. we are still working out kinks with the shipping calculator on paypal and will refund any overages charged in excess of $2 returns/repairs: we love our garments and want you to love them too. if you don't, please let us know what we can do to help. if you would like a refund, please send us an email before returning any items you have purchased from our site. return requests must be made within three days of receipt of your item and the item must be returned within five business days of original receipt. items must be returned in original, unworn condition. any items returned to us that are not in their original condition, free of any signs of wear, washing or cigarette smoke will be sent back to the customer and a refund will not be granted. this is a very strict policy and will not be bent regardless of circumstance. shipping fees are non-refundable. we believe in the structural integrity of our garments and wish that they should, with proper care, serve you well for years to come. if your garment requires a repair beyond a customized fitting (dear birthday does not currently alter clothing for online customers) please send us an email and we will work with you to mend your garment. though there is no cost for repairs, the customer will pay shipping for repairs, both ways. privacy: dear birthday will never ever share your private information collected on this website, through our mailing list or through Paypal or Propay with any third party. we value your business, your trust and your privacy and would do nothing to compromise that. |
